Continuous Monthly Events
It seems as though Little Finland has something happening all the time.

The Little Finland Gift Shop

Open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm at Little Finland
The gift shop will be closing for the season on the 29th of December 2010.
Will open again in April 2011.

The Chorus . Traditional Finnish kansanlaulua are sung. The Chorus also performs for special occasions.  

The Finnish language class
is held for an hour at 5pm every second and fourth Monday.

The NFAF Board
meets at Little Finland the second Monday of the month at 10am.

The Folkdance group meets on Sunday's from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at All Saints Lutheran Church on Putnam Street in Wakefield, Michigan. All ages are invited to attend and no experience or dance partner is required. Any musician can join the group as well.

JANUARY 5th 2011      6pm           Pasi Lautala of Pasi and the PasiCats
                                                      Free concert at Little Finland. Coffee and goodies afterward. 

 JANUARY 30th 2011     Game Day 2pm. at Little Finland. Bring your favorite games for an afternoon of fun.

FEBRUARY            Laskiainen
The Laskiainen (Sliding Day) Dinner is held at the Heritage Center. A traditional Finnish meal is served consisting of pea soup, rye bread, kropsua (oven pancakes), buttermilk and coffee.  Bring your skis or snowshoes and go on our ski trail.
